Learn about Levante Foundation scholarships and grants, and nominate your favorite charity!
The Levante Foundation primarily collaborates with organizations doing good work in senior living in Canada, and Canadian charities working to promote healthy aging around the globe.
We consider organizations that focus on all aspects of health and wellness. This includes physical wellbeing, mental health, learning, the brain, Alzheimer’s, and other areas that contribute to our ability to thrive as we age.
In 2021, Levante Foundation was pleased to provide Conestoga College full scholarships for over 12 of Levante Living’s team members (those working in Levante Living retirement residences) to enroll in the Leadership for Senior Living Program.
Due to the high caliber of coursework in this program and the great reviews from our team members, we will continue this partnership in the future. Levante places a high value on our team members, and this is one of the ways we show it.
Meet our 2022 Levante grant recipients
Named after the Greek Muse of Music, Euterpe is a well-established registered not-for-profit charity which brings LIVE, high calibre performance programs of Classical, Jazz and related diverse musical styles to those who might not otherwise have access to these life-enhancing opportunities. Children, especially those from underserved communities, and SENIORS, are a principal focus for Euterpe.
Euterpe will be performing at Levante Living retirement living residences this year! We look forward to enjoying their performances with our family and friends!
Artists don’t retire! In fact, most desire to keep creating as they get older; to continue developing the skills and talents they have spent a lifetime perfecting.
That’s why CSARN was created. Originally known as the Canadian Senior Artists’ Resource Network, CSARN is the voice of Canada’s senior artists. We advocate on their behalf and assist professional artists to keep active and creative as they age.
Levante Foundation’s donation will go toward CSARN’s mentoring program for seniors interested in continuing their artistic endeavors.
The HelpAge Canada Mission is to work in partnership with others to improve and maintain the quality of life of vulnerable older persons and their communities in Canada and around the world.
The HelpAge Canada Vision is a world in which all older persons will lead secure, healthy, active and dignified lives.
HelpAge Canada supports older Canadians from coast to coast to coast, particularly those who are underprivileged, marginalized, or struggling with loneliness and isolation. To overcome these barriers and to support the ability to age well and with dignity, we help in three key areas: Senior Can! Grants, Digital Literacy and Age-Friendly transportation
Internationally, HelpAge Canada works in partnership all over the world helping older people live secure, healthy dignified lives and providing opportunities for them to participate in their communities and the decisions that are being made on their behalf, specifically in Ethiopia, Ukraine, and Lebanon.

An exciting opportunity for Levante Living team members!
Levante Foundation is pleased to announce that we are now offering scholarships for Levante Living team members to further their education through completion of the Leadership in Senior Living program at Conestoga College.
This program, offered virtually, equips current and aspiring leaders with the skills they need to effectively lead high-functioning teams and support person-centred care in today’s senior living sector.
Learners who complete this program will benefit from an engaging online learning experience with the latest best practices in leadership for senior living. The program meets Ontario requirements for a program of instruction for Administrators in the Regulations under the Long-Term Care Homes Act. Graduates of the program would be suited for careers as new or emerging leaders in senior living environments.
The program offers a flexible schedule, with learners typically completing the program within seven months and committing approximately three hours a week. You can log in any time during the day to complete your three hours of schoolwork each week.
At Levante Living, we are always looking for ways to encourage leadership among our awesome team members.
Toward that end, we offer a full scholarship for this program for up to two qualified team members at each of our Levante residences.
Interested? We thought so!

Let’s make a difference together!
The Levante Foundation is thrilled to partner with charitable organizations doing good work in the communities where we have senior living residences. These are the neighborhoods where most of our residents and team members have lived, worked, and raised their families. As a company, we care about supporting our residents and team where they live and take an interest in making an impact in those places.
We’d like to invite our current team members employed at Levante to nominate a charitable organization.
If you work with a local or national Canadian charity or are passionate about the good work a charity is doing in your community, let us know and we’ll consider giving to this organization—even if it is outside our mission!
Like you, we look for opportunities to give and know the deep sense of joy and connectedness that both giving and receiving brings. We’re excited to see that joy and connectedness grow!
